2 for 1 on all Sunglasses

I’m so happy summer is finally here!

I have been out surfing in Devon today and the sun is finally shining! I am heading back into the studio this week to record a new album. I wrote the songs over the winter in England and The Canary Islands. I am trying to consistently to progress as a musician, as I have never been fully happy with an album I have wrote. Hopefully this time I can be happy. I think constantly striving for perfection is a good trait for a musician to have. I am going for a Indie /Americana sound to the new album and I am working with some fantastic producers, so I’m really excited to get working on the tracks.

I have a project on Kickstarter about to be launched this week ,  which will hopefully go a long way towards helping me record the best album I possibly can. I’ll keep you all updated on the project and album progression in the coming weeks. I have been playing heaps of gigs recently, mostly in Devon but last weekend I played a charity fundraiser for Arthritis UK in Falmouth, which was really fun and hopefully raised a lot of money!

I am currently booking some really great shows for the summer all over the UK and putting the logistics together for myself and UK dance producer Steve Birch to tour North America. Our Track ‘Alaska’ has been getting us some attention over in The States and we have been asked to go play so very excited about that!

Make sure you keep checking my website www.lauralostmusic.com for news on my tour dates and come check a show this summer!

As always many thanks to my wicked sponsers Breo and Silverstick for your continued support of my work. I can’t wait to play some great shows and surf all summer!

Hope we get great waves and sunshine!!

by Elaine Abonal September 12, 2016

It’s funny how we are told that people are naturally resistant to change, whereas the most natural thing in the world IS change. These past few months have all been about change for me and although in my brain I know it, my heart doesn’t seem to be ready. Until now, where I have taken a break and have been … Continue reading

As ever, I’m not sure where the past while has gone – summer definitely seems to have disappeared in the blink of an eye! I started off the trail running season on a really positive note and was ready, and very excited, to get my first ultra-race of the year ticked off nice and early in April. But, … Continue reading
