A Summer Of Gigs…

by Callum Stewart September 02, 2014

Feels like a long time ago since I wrote my last blog for Breo. It’s been a crazy few months for me with travelling, gigging and just generally having a blast. It started in July with a bit of travelling. After a crazy run of gigs (5 in 36 hours), I jumped on a plane and headed to Pula, Croatia for a week of Bliss. The sunshine and the setting was a perfect combination and it was exactly what I needed after the crazy gigging schedule of the month before. It also gave me an excuse to wear my new Breo Uptones!

After Croatia, I flew to Stockholm, Sweden where I was working at the Vineyard Norden Camp for a week playing for the teens there, which was such a buzz! I really fell in love with the country and the people there and hope to go back and play really soon. It was straight into festival season then, which unfortunately started with a bit of disappointment. I had been booked to play Somersault Festival, which would have been by far my biggest festival to date! Unfortunately a few days before I was due to play, the gig fell through which was a little hard to stomach at the time but was quickly forgotten when I got to my other festivals!

I moved on to playing amazing festivals in Ireland such as Forfey and a Main Stage slot at Stendhal Festival of Art which was so much fun. These festivals have helped me create a lot more hype, which in turn has helped the next few months become a lot more exciting with amazing gigs such as Guinness Amplify and Communion gigs which I cannot wait for. I’m also heading back over to London soon for some more label discussions, which is always an exciting experience. I can’t wait for the next few months and I will let you all know how it goes in the next blog!

Change Is The Most Natural Thing In The World

by Elaine Abonal September 12, 2016

It’s funny how we are told that people are naturally resistant to change, whereas the most natural thing in the world IS change. These past few months have all been about change for me and although in my brain I know it, my heart doesn’t seem to be ready. Until now, where I have taken a break and have been … Continue reading

From Trail Running to Paddle Boarding

by Sarah Morton August 22, 2016

As ever, I’m not sure where the past while has gone – summer definitely seems to have disappeared in the blink of an eye! I started off the trail running season on a really positive note and was ready, and very excited, to get my first ultra-race of the year ticked off nice and early in April. But, … Continue reading
